10/12/14 Maumelle COE Campground, Little Rock, AR

Last night while laying in bed watching TV our Surge Guard disconnected power to our rig because of the volts getting to high.  The power volts seem to fluctuate up and down so whenever the volts would drop down to 130 or less the Surge Guard would allow power to pass through to our rig.  With our our phones plugged in every time the power turned back on the phones make a "bleep" noise as if you plugged them in to charge plus the Surge Guard itself makes a load "Click" noise when it first allows power through.  The noise of that happening woke me up a few times last night, but just barley so i was able to fall right back asleep.

I was out of bed before 8:00 and finished up yesterdays journal entry and posted it.  Jami was working her way out of bed around 9:15 so i started her coffee.  It was raining on and off this morning, but by the time Jami was up it had stopped so we went outside to enjoy the morning air.  While outside we were treated to a deer running past us and into the woods.  Sweet!  I thought Jemma was going to follow the deer into the woods, but as soon as we called her name she stopped and watch the deer disappear into the woods.  Wow, Jemma listen to us cause i though for sure she was going into the woods and we were going to be doing a "search & rescue" mission for the next 1/2 hour.  I shouldn't say that, she listens pretty well, but a deer running by is one of those things where dogs turn their ears off and chase.  When were in campgrounds like this with plenty of separation and privacy between campers we usually don't put Jemma on a leash unless we're going for a walk.  Lets keeps that on the "down low" between us, don't want a visit from the park rangers :)

Jami received an email from "Best Buy" notifying us that the laptop computer i dropped off last week was ready to be picked up.  So we ate some breakfast, Hmm, it was 10:45 so i guess you could call it brunch and then went to go pick it up.

We took Jami's new computer with us to have them look at a few issues while their.  We picked up our old computer and everything looked great with it.  The began working on Jami's new computer which ended up taking about an hour, but its much better now.  They suggested when we have time to drop it off and leave it for 3-5 days they could do a much better job, but it seems like it's working much better already so we'll what till we get back to Florida to do that.  From Best Buy we headed to the post office to mail a letter and then to a gas station to fill up the Toyota.  From there we went back home.

There was no power in our rig when we got home due to the high voltage again, but it turned back on within 5 minuets.  This park is the first time we've ever had an electrical issue like this so it's easy to get frustrated with our Surge Guard, but without it who knows what kind of damage the high voltage could do to our electronics.

We both started working/playing on our laptops while watching some TV.  We're multitasking :)  The rain has been fairly light, but now the weather channel is showing tomorrow will be the worst day of rain so far.

We took Jemma for a long walk around the campground knowing tomorrow we were all going to be stuck inside for the day.

Not much more to say about today, a very lite rain would come and go so we stayed inside the rest of the day except to take Jemma out for potty.  With the large amount of rain expected here tomorrow, The Journal tomorrow will probably go something like this "We woke up, rained all day, we went to bed" The End :)
