10/19/14 Greers Ferry Lake Dam Site Park. Heber Springs, AR

I was up and at'em at 7:30 this morning typing away on yesterdays journal.  I knew the campers across the street from us were leaving today so i stepped outside to see if they were getting ready to leave yet cause i wanted to move our truck to make it easier for them to get out.  Brrrrr it was cold outside.  I didn't see any activity so i went back inside to finish up the journal and enjoy the warmth.

I stepped outside again around 9:00 to see if they were getting ready, sure enough they just started the motorhomes engine and was raising their leveling jacks.  I walked over to offer to move my truck and they were very happy i did.  So i moved my truck and waited for them to pull out, once they were gone i re parked our truck to then see a different motorhome pull into that site.  Apparently there is a line of people waiting for sites to open in the 2 camping loops that have 50amp electric and water.  the other loops have 30amp electric only, no water.  Sure glad we showed up here early :)  Oh, i think i forgot to take a picture of our nice patio area that Jami set up for us a few days ago so here it is.

By the time that was done Jami was up and sipping on her coffee.  We sat inside for awhile before deciding to take a drive to try and find a nice walking trail that we were told about at last nights hot dog cookout.  We hopped in the truck and drove to were we though we were told the trail was.  Welp, we didn't find a trail so we headed back towards home and stopped at a trail head just outside the park where we're camped at.

 Wide smooth trails

We walked about  1.5 miles with Jemma and then drove home.  We needed to be at "Workampers" office at 2pm to help them assemble binders to give to all the attendees.  There were at least 16 or more of us volunteers helping to assemble the 227 needed  binders which took us about 2 hours to complete.

From their "Workamper" took us to "Freddies Frozen Yogurt" and treated us to some delicious frozen yogurt.  That must have had 40 different topping and the nice thing about it is it's all self serve so you can make it just the way you want it.  Once your done building your master piece you then put it on a scale and your charged by the weight.  That was soooo delicious!!!

From their we headed home to let Jemma out and take her for a short walk.  It was 5:30 by then so Jami started cooking some dinner which seemed weird after just eating ice cream.  While she was doing that i drained some of our grey water into our "blue boy" and towed it down to the dump station to empty it.  When i returned Jami had about 10 minuets of cooking left so i started on today's journal until she was ready to eat.

We sat in our normal places with our TV trays and watched the NASCAR race that had recorded earlier today.  After that we watched a few more shows before heading to bed a little after 11:00
