10/17/14 Greers Ferry Lake Dam Site Park. Heber Springs, AR

With last nights campfire and a glass of wine (or two) i slept in till 8:00 this morning.  I did my normal routine and worked on my laptop getting yesterdays journal entry posted.  Jami was up just after 9:00.  We sat outside chatting and enjoying the wonderful weather we have here.  We needed to empty both our grey tanks due to the amount of laundry we've been doing so i drained most of the first tank into our "blueboy" and used the Toyota to tow it down to the dump station.  Once i finished i headed back home to finish emptying the galley grey tank and then emptied the bathroom grey tank and drove back to the dump station to empty it.

When i returned from finishing that job Jami was just finishing up making French Toast for breakfast so we sat down to eat.  That hit the spot!!  Yesterday i had told one of the people we weighed that needed to raise his tires air pressure that i would try to drive our dually over to him so he could do that.  I installed an air compressor (VIAIR Medium Duty Onboard Air System) in our dually truck that puts out 150psi. which is useful when you need to have 110psi in your tires.

So after i finished breakfast i hopped in the truck and drove over there so he could put the needed air in his tires.  While he was doing that i walked across the street to help another camper that we weighed yesterday put on his tire monitor system.  He had everything programmed, he just couldn't get the sensors screwed onto the valve stems.  The inside rear tires were difficult to do, but i finally got them installed.  I walked back over to my truck just as he was finishing up adding the air.  Both of them thanked me over and over for my help, That's just what RV'ers do, help each other out.

When i returned back home Jami & I took Jemma on a nice long walk through some of the closed campground loops and down to the lake at the boat ramp and beach.  Not sure if you can see Jemma already in the water, but as soon as she saw it she took off down the boat ramp to get in.

Today was pretty warm reaching 80, so we decided to take our shoes off and go into the water.
Oh did that feel good!!!

Walking the tight rope :)
The other day when we came down here to the water Jemma went crazy barking at this floating buoy.  We were able to get her to finally go close enough to it to sniff it and see it wasn't going to do anything, so today we got her comfortable enough with it to join me sitting on it :)
We ran around with Jemma in the water for at least 30 minuets before walking through another closed campground loop and heading back home.  That walk took about 11/2 hours and about 11/2 miles, Jemma sure needed that.

We were relaxing at home outside when we received a call from one of the attendees of the Workamper Rendezvous that wanted to get weighed and to informing us he was about an hour away. We told him to just call us when he entered the campground and we'd meet him on the road to weigh him.

Once he called we drove out to the street in the campground and got him weighed.  We went back home and Jami started sprucing up our campsite by putting out our outdoor 9x12 mat, recliner chair, table cloth on the picnic table and so small end tables.  While she was doing that i added the 2nd jug of DEF exhaust fluid in the diesel truck and ran one of our portable generators just to exercise it.
I must admit Jami made our outside area really nice and relaxing.

It was getting close to dinner time so Jami went inside to cook while i started on today's journal entry.  We ate dinner and watched some TV, them we took a short walk around our campground loop and took our trash to the dumpsters.  Then it was back inside to watch some more TV.  We stayed up till almost 11:00 went we finally went to bed.
