I was up at 6:00 finishing yesterdays journal entry and getting it posted. I was obviously struggling to get it done and fell behind a day or two. This morning i finally was able to post the journal entry on time, yea!! Jami was up at 6:45 so we both ate a little breakfast and headed out at 7:30 to meet our first weighing at the Holiday Inn.
With the weather showing today's high at 85 i was thrilled to be able to were shorts today. We had everything set up and ready for our first weighing by 7:40. We've got this routine down pretty good now, we can usually get set up in about 5 minutes. Once our first weighing showed up just before 8:00 we got to work and got them weighed. We spent a good amount of time with them due to one tire carrying much more weight than the others. We couldn't find a problem by just looking at the suspension, but his RV is under warranty so he is going to take it to have it looked at. Our next weighing wasn't till 9:00 so we waited for a bit till they arrived. We got him weighed and then it was the waiting game again till our last weighing scheduled at 10:00. Our last weighing showed up a little early so we got him weighed and was packed up and heading home by 10:00.
Today was moving day so we started getting packed up and ready to travel. It took us a little longer than normal to get everything ready, but that's only because we've been here for 10 days so we had a lot more stuff taken out. We drove to the dump station, dumped our tanks and were on the road at 12:00. We had a long 51/2 hour drive today to Whitten Park COE Campground in Fulton, MS. We wouldn't have driven this far, but all the State parks that were closer didn't have any open campsites. Guess everyone is getting out and doing as much as they can outdoors before winter arrives.
It was terrific drive on nice roads with very little traffic except when we were nearing Memphis. There was construction that caused a 20 minute delay. We must have been making good time cause we arrived at 5:30. We selected our site, parked and set up by 6:10.
We took Jamma for a walk around the park and then went inside for some dinner. We were feeling pretty worn out so we watched some TV and went to bed just after 10:00
