10/13/14 Maumelle COE Campground, Little Rock, AR

We both woke up this morning at 7:40 to our phones ringing, first Jami's and then mine.  Thinking maybe its an emergency cause both our phone rang one right after another i got up to see who it was.  It wasn't a number i recognized, but there was a voice mail, as it turns out it was Walter, our boss calling.  he had a few questions about the weighing reports we mail to him from the FMAC rally we did in Shreveport, LA.  I called him back and clarified a few things on the reports.  It was raining when i got up so after the phone call i took at look at the weather radar.  UGLY.

We took Jemma outside to go potty then we were right back inside.  The weather report was saying 2-3 inches of rain was expected and already the ditches that had been empty are now flowing like rivers.  Luckily for us our campsite is up on a hill, some of the others had streams flowing through them.

Not a great picture, but the water sure is flowing.  We had some breakfast and prepared for a boring day inside.  It was kinda a repeat of yesterday with us bouncing between our laptops, tablets and TV.
By 3pm the rain had stopped and looking at the radar we figured we would be safe to take Jemma for a nice long walk.  Even though we didn't seem to get as much rain as we were thinking, you could definitely see where the low areas in the park are.

We walked to the Arkansas River to see how much affect the rain had on it.  It seems to have gotten at least a foot higher.
Jemma loves to photo bomb every picture she can :)

Once we made it around the campground and back home we resumed our activities to pass the time.  Jami made dinner and we watched more TV.  We were excited to watch "The Voice" tonight being the first night of the battle rounds.  After that we headed to bed and watch another TV show before calling it a night around 11:00
