10/18/14 Greers Ferry Lake Dam Site Park. Heber Springs, AR

We were both up at our normal times this morning doing our regular routines.  We had nothing at all planned for today so i went on-line to see if there was a farmers/produce market in the area.  I found one plus i found a county market in the area.  So after a late breakfast we headed out to visit these places and do some shopping.  First we wanted to go to the country market so we headed through town and turned onto the street where it was located according to the website.  Eventually i gave up and turned around, but Jami remembered seeing a place that sold honey a few days ago when we went to out to dinner so we headed in that direction.  Local honey was really what Jami was on the hunt for today.  Sure enough we arrived at Ozark Country Market a few miles outside of town.

Now i wasn't sure what to expect in a country market, but i was pleasantly surprised.  It was much nicer than expected with a large selection of nuts, spices, chocolates, chips and so on as you can see from the below pictures and on their website.

We could have purchased much more, but we kept ourselves under control and only walked out with the following items.
Pumpkin seeds roasted & salted, Toasted Onion, Salted corn chips w/flax seeds, Honey from Ozark mountain wildflowers, 3 color coconut and many different flavors of honey sticks.

From there we headed out to find the farmers market, but had no luck so we then headed to Walmart for a few items.

From Walmart we headed back home to put some groceries away and enjoy the weather.  Yesterday we had asked Jody & her husband Luke with Workamper if they wanted to go out for dinner tonight knowing that it probably wouldn't because of their busy schedule getting prepared to kick off the Workamper Rendezvous  which officially starts on Tuesday the 21st.  They said if they could make it happen they would, but not to count on it.  Like we figured they were not able too, but we were invited to join a group of attendees who we meet by weighing their RV's for a hot dog cookout at 5pm.  Jami made some delicious brownies and we headed over to join the group.  We sat in a circle and everyone introduced themselves and gave information on where their from and so on which let into some interesting conversation.  I believe there was about 15 in the group, 1 of them being a solo female RV'er.  We finally broke out the hot dogs and started cooking them over the campfire.

There was a few side dishes as well.  That was so much fun getting to know everyone and having a casual dinner cooking your hot dog yourself over the campfire just the way you want it.  Once everyone finished eating we played a game called "Fork & Spoon".  Its a simple game that involves passing a fork & spoon around the circle in opposite directions, now there also a saying you must tell each the people sitting next to you.  You can easily get confused which is what makes the game so funny.  After we finished playing that the conversations started again until the group broke up just after 8pm.  We headed home for showers and and to watch some TV till almost 11:00 when we called it a night and headed for bed.
