10/27/14 Wind Creek State Park. Alexander City, AL

I slept in a little later today, first i woke at 7:00, then woke again at 8:00.  That works, so i got up ans got yesterdays journal done and posted.  Jemma was ready to get up and go outside so i took her for a little walk around the campground loop we're parked in.  When we returned Jami was now ready to get up so i started her coffee and offered to take her for a walk :)  Just kidding!

It was very foggy this morning, you could barely see across the street, but the temperature was just right.  Just cold enough to be refreshing, but not so cold i had to wear pants. Perfect.  We sat outside for awhile watching the fog burn off and the other side of the lake slowly show itself.  We went back inside, started some laundry and Jami started cooking so breakfast.  Once she was done we sat down to eat eggs, bacon, hash-browns and toast.  It was so good!  It was just after 11:00 by now so we decided it was time to get our paperwork completed from the weightings we did last week and then head into town to mail it off.

We needed to fuel up the Diesel truck so we took that into town.  First we stopped at Walmart so Jami could pick up some wine, then we headed to the post office and lastly we stopped to fill up the truck with fuel.   Once home I first cleaned the bugs off the front of our camper, then we wanted to take Jemma on a nice long walk and let her go play in the lake, so that just what we did.  We walked around a portion of the lake and even joined Jemma in the lake.  I had a few great pictures, but my phone ran out of room to store anymore so when i went through it to get rid of some older ones i mistakenly deleted them.  Darn!!!

We had a good time running around in the water with Jemma and finally tired out after about an hour or so.  We returned home, Jami made us some sandwiches to hold us over till dinner and then gave Jemma a bath.  I was surprised to see it was 6:00 already.  We relaxed for awhile and did stuff on our laptops and tablets before having some dinner, taking a shower and assuming the evening TV watching position.

Oh, i forgot to mention yesterday while we were enjoying the campfire we heard a pack of coyotes doing a bunch of howling.  Then tonight when we took Jemma out for the last time to go potty we heard then again.  Kinda scary!  I wonder if they caught dinner and were celebrating the triumph?

Anyway, we called it a night and went to bed around 10:30.  Tomorrow is a travel day so we didn't want to stay up to late.
